Lagoon was a delightful wander through texture ... mucking about with palette knives and the usual assortment of original techniques for creating imagery. The coral was an accident and the work eventually evolved into an undersea lagoon - a place untouched by time or threat, where things had been left undisturbed for thousands of years.

The painting makes me feel safe, secluded and untouched by threat.
